Job Description:
The Team
Asset Management Risk provides direction to management and business units by proactively identifying and monitoring risks to protect the interests of the firm, clients, and associates. It is responsible for identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving controls and processes.
The Position
The Director, Asset Management Risk, Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets will oversee risk management for Digital Assets, Equity, High Income, Fixed Income, Managed Accounts, and Asset Allocation Investment Teams, focusing on blockchain and cryptocurrency-related services. Responsibilities include gathering industry data, analyzing market trends, assessing internal processes, developing tools to measure operational risks, and designing mitigation plans to protect Fidelity, clients, and associates.
This role involves analyzing end-to-end processes, assessing data and controls for risks, performing targeted data-driven risk assessments, and developing risk management reports with data visualization tools.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for risk management and asset management, with relevant academic or work experience. They should possess excellent SQL, programming, and data visualization skills, along with strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, especially for senior audiences. The role requires a hardworking, eager-to-learn, results-oriented individual.
