Director, Asset Management CAM Non-Performing

Job Overview

The Director of Non-Performing Credit and Asset Management will oversee a portfolio of non-performing CMBS and/or Agency loans, analyzing financials, managing complex valuation models, and developing creative resolution strategies. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and collaboration skills within the commercial real estate space.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of major markets to support property assessments and financial modeling
  • Manage relationships with borrowers, lenders, and certificate holders, adhering to servicing standards
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors
  • Assess asset performance against original underwriting
  • Review operational performance metrics
  • Create and update cash flow and valuation models in Excel
  • Develop resolution strategies from scenario analysis to recovery
  • Conduct site visits and market surveys as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, real estate, or related field
  • 7+ years experience in loan workout, restructuring, or special servicing
  • Experience with loan modifications, negotiations, foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO management
  • Prior experience with Agency, CMBS, CLO, or CDO structures
  • Understanding of commercial real estate transactions and capital markets
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
