We’re looking for a commercially driven Director of Asset Development to lead renewable project sourcing and execution. You’ll work at the intersection of development, utilities, and infrastructure strategy, owning deals from concept to close.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead development of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro, storage)
2. Oversee site selection, permitting, and regulatory processes
3. Evaluate infrastructure feasibility and fuel supply for thermal opportunities
4. Structure and negotiate energy procurement deals
5. Analyze utility tariffs and pricing structures to optimize project economics
6. Set and track KPIs for contracted and operational capacity
7. Travel approximately 30% of the time
8. Maintain a strong understanding of permitting, PPAs, and regulatory frameworks
9. Successfully close commercial energy deals — especially thermal or hybrid
10. Deep knowledge of utility rate structures and project modeling
11. Exhibit strong communication and stakeholder management skills
12. Hold a high-impact role in a growing company with real capital and vision
