Overview

We are seeking a Director to support our TekSynap’s Army Programs and growth opportunities. TekSynap is a fast-growing high-tech company that understands both the pace of technology today and the need to have a comprehensive well-planned information management environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end capture management activities for Army IT modernization, cybersecurity, and digital transformation task order and proposal responses, from opportunity identification through contract award and transition to operations.
  • Design and execute effective capture strategies, including customer engagement, competitive positioning, price-to-win analysis, and solution development aligned with Army mission requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing scalable processes for post-award transition, program start-up, and ongoing contract execution in partnership with delivery and corporate teams.
  • Facilitate and develop proposals, ensuring compliance, compelling operational solutions, and alignment with customer objectives and contract requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional capture and operations teams, providing mentorship, training, and performance oversight to ensure capture and program delivery success.
  • Support compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements throughout the capture and operational lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD capture management, with at least 5 years focused on Army programs.
  • Proven record of capturing and operationalizing ($10-50M+) federal contracts, with demonstrated success in both pre- and post-award environments.
  • Deep understanding of Army IT initiatives, acquisition processes, contracting vehicles, and operational requirements.
  • Extensive network of Army relationships and a strong grasp of Army organizational structure and mission priorities.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through capture, proposal, and operational start-up phases.
  • Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
  • Maintain or obtain PMP certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing programs under CHESS ITES IDIQ (or similar DoD contract vehicles) is a strong plus.
  • PMP Certification highly desired (required within 6 months of hire).
  • ITIL Certification a strong plus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Location: Remote, Type of environment: Office setting. Traveling to customer locations.

Noise level: Medium, Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

Amount of Travel: At least 10%, Physical demands: Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
