Alignment Health is seeking a Director of Analytics & Reporting to lead a team of analytics professionals and execute a scalable analytics strategy. You will design solutions, deliver executive reporting, and drive data product development to support business decisions.

This senior role partners across operations, clinical, finance, compliance, and technology, improving data trust, speed, and insights while reducing manual processes and optimizing reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in analytics, BI, reporting, data products, or related field.
• 5+ years of people leadership delivering teams and resources.
• Experience developing roadmaps and analytics portfolios with measurable outcomes.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
• Experience with large, complex data sources and data validation.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Python, R, SAS and modern data platforms.

The Director of Analytics & Reporting is a senior leader and player-coach responsible for executing the analytics strategy through scalable capabilities, disciplined delivery, and measurable business outcomes. This role leads and develops a team of analytics professionals while remaining actively involved in solution design, complex analysis, executive reporting, data product development, and issue resolution. The Director oversees a growing analytics portfolio and establishes the processes, standards, and operating cadence needed to convert business needs into reporting, insights, and analytical solutions. This role partners with leaders across operations, clinical, finance, compliance, technology, and other business functions. Success requires building trust in data, improving the speed and quality of insights, reducing manual processes, and ensuring analytics support business decision-making. Experience Required 12+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data products, decision support, or a related field. 5+ years of people leadership experience with responsibility for delivery, coaching, performance, and resource management. Experience developing roadmaps and delivering analytics portfolios with measurable business outcomes. Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Experience with complex analytics, solution design, data validation, troubleshooting, and executive reporting. Experience working with large, complex data sources and partnering with technology and data teams. Preferred Healthcare or other regulated industry experience. Experience with Python, R, SAS, modern data platforms, analytics engineering, workflow automation, or product-based delivery methods. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be substituted. Preferred Advanced degree or professional certification in analytics, data management, project management, process improvement, quality, or related disciplines. Specialized Skills Required Ability to work effectively in a changing environment. Portfolio management, prioritization, estimation, dependency management, and risk management skills. Strong executive communication and influencing skills. Expertise in analytics methodologies, KPI design, visualization, root-cause analysis, and data quality management. Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Strong judgment, accountability, integrity, and discretion. Knowledge of privacy, security, regulatory, and audit requirements related to analytics and reporting. Preferred Experience with workflow automation, report scheduling, and data quality tools. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid. Experience with enterprise data governance, MDM, or audit frameworks. Licensure None required. Essential Physical Functions Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and use hands and arms while performing job duties. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and perform work requiring close vision and focus adjustment.
