LyondellBasell seeks a Director of Supply & Asset Mgmt Americas to lead US/Mexico/Brazil AP&S operations from Houston or San Luis Potosi. You will drive IBP adoption, align strategies with business goals, and optimize materials planning, logistics, and customer service across the Americas.

You will work with senior leaders to manage talent, improve process efficiency, and deliver value while managing costs and risks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, manufacturing or related fields.
• Strong managerial courage and people development skills.
• Commercial acumen and business understanding are required for this role.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapid decision-making and delegation with immediate impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain operations for APS Americas including US, Mexico, and Brazil.
• Champion IBP and ensure proper execution and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective processes across planning, logistics, inventory, customer service and distribution.
• Collaborate with regional teams to optimize supply chain performance.
• Serve as a culture leader and develop the talent pipeline.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, Inventory, and Costs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure reliable operations.
• Liaise with Sales, Business, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance to resolve issues.
