Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) in Carlsbad, NM, seeks a Director of Allied Health to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Allied Health programs, including CNA, Surgical Technology, Phlebotomy, Health Information Technology, and Radiography development.

The role partners with high schools for dual credit, guides accreditation activities, manages budgets, staffing, scheduling, and program expansion to meet regional workforce needs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in an Allied Health–related field with five years of progressively responsible healthcare education experience.
  • Experience with accreditation, program development, or clinical coordination is preferred.
  • Equivalency: bachelor’s degree with seven years of relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all Allied Health programs.
  • Oversee faculty/staff workload, scheduling, and dual credit offerings at Carlsbad and Artesia high schools.
  • Lead accreditation activities and regulatory reporting for Allied Health programs.
  • Develop and expand Allied Health programs and dual credit pathways based on workforce needs.
  • Establish and manage clinical partnerships and community engagement in rural settings.
