Job summary

Octave in Madison, AL is seeking a Director of AI Transformation to lead enterprise-wide AI adoption across the organization. You will partner with the AI Steering Committee and functional leaders to drive responsible adoption, governance, and measurable business value from AI.

You will identify high-value opportunities, develop enablement programs, and ensure safe, scalable AI use across teams while reporting progress to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, AI adoption, change management, or innovation programs.
  • Strong business orientation with ability to connect AI use cases to measurable value.
  • Experience working across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, responsible AI principles, and data governance.
  • Strong program leadership, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Ability to balance innovation with risk management, governance, and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s enterprise AI transformation agenda, focusing on adoption, behavior change, and measurable business impact.
  • Partner with the AI Steering Committee to shape priorities, governance, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Build and manage the enterprise AI use case portfolio from intake to retirement.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify AI opportunities, define business cases, assign ownership, and measure outcomes.
  • Develop and support AI enablement programs, including training, communications, change management, and leadership engagement.
  • Promote responsible AI use by implementing policies, standards, guardrails, and approval processes.
  • Coordinate with technology, data, security, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure AI tools are safe and scalable.
  • Drive standardization of approved AI tools, platforms, and practices to reduce duplication and risk.
  • Track progress, adoption, risks, dependencies, and business value, reporting to the AI Steering Committee.
  • Foster a culture of practical experimentation, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement around AI.

Job description

Responsibilities

The Director of AI Transformation will lead Octave’s enterprise-wide adoption of artificial intelligence partnering with the AI Steering Committee and functional leaders to drive responsible adoption, workforce enablement, use case prioritization, governance implementation, and measurable business value from AI across the organization.

This role will work closely with the AI Steering Committee, executive leaders, technology, legal, IT, security, HR, and functional business leaders to translate AI strategy into practical adoption.

The Director will identify high-value opportunities, support responsible experimentation, drive workforce readiness, and help scale AI use cases that improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and business performance.

  • Lead the company’s enterprise AI transformation agenda, with a focus on adoption, behavior change, and measurable business impact
  • Partner with the AI Steering Committee to shape priorities, governance, decision-making, and reporting

Education / Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, AI adoption, change management, or innovation programs
