Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Debug Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on root cause analysis and tooling for AI infrastructure platforms.

You will advise Engineering, Quality, Architecture and customer teams across Cloud, Enterprise AI, and HPC deployments to improve reliability. You will develop telemetry, playbooks, and automated checks, while coaching engineers in advanced debugging and effective customer communication, driving durable improvements across AMD's hardware,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Multiple years of systems, silicon, firmware, or platform debug experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing customer escalations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of debug engineers supporting escalations across hyperscale, HPC, and AI deployments.
• Manage daily debug with Cloud and Enterprise AI customers and at-scale remote datacenters.
• Own the debug lifecycle end to end: triage, root cause, resolution and prevention.
• Establish a disciplined operating rhythm with rapid triage, clear status, and thorough handoffs.
• Standardize data capture with telemetry, logs and remote access; automate recurring cases.
• Translate field findings into fixes, test coverage, and architectural decisions.
