Job summary
Yahoo is looking for an experienced AI/ML engineer to drive large-scale ML-powered solutions across multiple teams. You will shape technical requirements, data strategies, and scalable production-ready architectures while collaborating with product, design and research leads.
You will stay ahead of AI trends, including LLMs and generative AI, guiding teams to adopt principled approaches aligned with product vision and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of industry impact with increasing responsibility and strategic influence.
- Expertise in AI, ML, DL, NLP and applying these technologies to strategic problems.
- Strong programming in Python and Java or C++, building scalable, robust systems.
Responsibilities
- Guide design and implementation of large-scale ML-based solutions across teams.
- Define technical requirements and data strategies for knowledge grounding and evaluation.
- Lead cross-team discussions to align product, design and research efforts.
- Stay abreast of AI trends, including LLMs and generative AI, and guide adoption based on data principles and product vision.
- Drive data analysis to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, and inform strategy with product partners.
- Lead the team in adopting Agentic AI development for the product and system.
