Job summary
Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Director of Product Management, Search Monetization, to own monetization strategy and execution across Yahoo Search. You will lead a senior, hands-on product leader with deep experience in sponsored search and search advertising.
You will drive improvements in revenue, RPM, and ad quality, while shaping new AI-powered ad formats and commercial experiences for conversational and generative experiences.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of Product Management experience, including monetization at scale.
- 5+ years with search advertising or related performance advertising products.
- Experience improving monetization through optimization and data-driven decisions.
- Experience with programmatic ad marketplaces or external ad platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with large-scale product metrics and experiments.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Yahoo Search monetization.
- Drive revenue and RPM improvements while preserving user experience.
- Optimize relevance, ranking, placement, density, and query coverage.
- Define scalable monetization for Scout and AI-powered Search experiences.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Design, and Partners.
- Design experiments in complex ad marketplace environments and interpret results.
