About The Director Of AI Engineering – Transform Review

This role leads a team responsible for flagship AI products, including Review Center, aiR for Review, and aiR for Privilege. The director will unify architecture, organization, and strategy to transform and advance document review in the legal industry.

The leader will work closely with product management, collaborate with other AI teams, and oversee a team of 50+ engineers and product leaders. Responsibilities include driving AI innovation, aligning with AI principles, and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

• Represent Relativity’s AI strategy for key products.
• Own features, technology functions, and team development within AI strategy.
• Participate in industry conferences and engage with customers.
• Build and lead a cross-functional AI team.
• Lead large initiatives, prioritize investments, and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to scale solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote innovation.
• Advise leadership on technology partnerships and acquisitions.
• Develop practices for onboarding and skill development across offices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including 3-5 years in leadership.
• Proven experience in building AI products, especially generative AI.
• Expertise in data-driven solutions in production environments.
• Leadership in global software organizations.
• Strong communication and strategic skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern programming languages, cloud environments, and SaaS systems.
• Experience launching and growing AI products.
• Knowledge of machine learning APIs, big data, and cloud-native tools.
• Leadership in geographically distributed teams.

Relativity offers competitive compensation, including base salary, bonuses, and incentives, with a range of $195,000 to $293,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
