Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director, Insights & Innovation to lead TAIP’s analytics roadmap and governance, delivering automated insights across trial design and execution. You will partner with data science teams, drive predictive analytics, and ensure regulatory compliance while shaping enterprise platforms like Photon and Comet.

Located in Princeton, NJ or other BMS hubs, you will mentor analysts, interact with senior stakeholders, and guide method evolution across global functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience across clinical development, trial analytics, biostatistics, data governance, advanced trial analytics, or management consulting.
• Experience working with data scientists, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions, with the ability to translate business questions into analytically tractable problems.
• Experience governing analytics platforms, tools, or data products in regulated or high-risk environments.
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling, simulation, and/or machine learning concepts sufficient to challenge assumptions, evaluate limitations, and guide roadmap decisions.
• Proven ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT/data science teams, shaping solutions from concept through adoption.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of new systems, methods, or reporting processes across large organizations.
• Experience with enterprise analytics systems (Workbench, Performance Central, CTMS, etc.)
• Strong documentation, communication, and decision-framing skills
• Proven ability to lead teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and operate effectively across global functions

Responsibilities

• Own and orchestrate the end-to-end analytics roadmap for TAIP’s advanced analytics capabilities.
• Define priority use cases, maturity stages, and value realization in partnership with TAIP leadership and Data Science counterparts.
• Govern analytical methodologies underpinning TAIP deliverables across feasibility, site selection, enrollment forecasting, and portfolio insights.
• Provide business ownership for analytics products (e.g., Photon, Comet) designed for automation and scalability.
• Shape how predictive modeling, simulation, machine learning, and AI are applied in TAIP to inform trial decisions.
• Translate analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership forums.
• Ensure outputs answer the right business questions at the right time with appropriate confidence.
• Mentor junior analysts to develop analytical judgment and rigorous thinking.
