Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Transformation Process Redesign Director in Arlington, VA to lead end-to-end process redesign, embedding AI and automation within redesigned workflows. You will work across compliance, risk, contracting, billing, and product configuration to deliver scalable operating designs and measurable improvements.

The ideal candidate brings deep Lean Six Sigma experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and a track record of modernizing legacy processes in a matrix

Qualifications

• Translate ambiguous intent into a clean operating plan and run the system interdependently.
• Deep expertise in process optimization, mapping, and handoff to implementation.
• Analytical, entrepreneurial mindset with experience modernizing legacy processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process discovery, current-state mapping, and future-state redesign.
• Define processes, dependencies, and handoffs to enable scalable execution.
• Architect redesigned processes integrating compliance, risk, contracting, and product configuration.
• Identify cross-functional roadblocks and chart short paths to results.
• Create reusable process patterns for Mastercard products.
• Define AI/automation embedding and ensure governance with metrics.
• Instrument redesigned processes with the right performance metrics.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to senior executives.
