Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking a Director of Product Analytics and Insights to build and lead our product analytics function from the ground up. You’ll shape KPI frameworks, instrumentation standards, and self-service analytics, partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and GTM to drive data-informed decisions.

You’ll own the analytics ecosystem, leverage Pendo and other tools, design dashboards, and embed measurement across the product lifecycle, influencing roadmap priorities and business

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product analytics or BI/data science with 5+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with Pendo, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Proven ability to design instrumentation and enable self-service analytics.
• Experience in B2B SaaS and multi-product environments, AI analytics helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the product analytics function, defining KPI framework and standards.
• Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap and priorities.
• Own and optimize the product analytics ecosystem using Pendo and other tools.
• Develop self-service dashboards and reporting for product teams.
• Embed analytics into the product development lifecycle and feature releases.
• Analyze product performance, identify growth opportunities, and measure impact.
• Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives with Engineering, Data, GTM and executives.
