Job summary

Pathos is building a next-generation biotech with AI at the core. The Director, Clinical Science leads day-to-day scientific execution across active Phase 1 and Phase 2 oncology programs, owning protocol development, data review, clinical document authorship, and site-level scientific support from study startup through closeout.

You will collaborate with Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine and Biomarker Science to maintain scientific rigor, report to the Chief Development Lead, and apply

Qualifications

• MD, PhD or PharmD in a life sciences field required.
• 5+ years in oncology clinical development with ownership of protocol design and content
• Proven ability to deliver study protocols and regulatory documents for Phase 1/2 oncology trials
• Strong scientific writing skills and ability to distill complex evidence into clear documents
• Familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Own protocol development and clinical documents from first draft through amendments.
• Write and maintain Investigator Brochures, informed consent forms, CSRs and briefing documents.
• Direct AI-assisted workflows for data compilation and document drafting while applying scientific judgment.
• Lead ongoing safety and efficacy data review across active studies and prepare DMEC materials.
• Serve as scientific contact for investigators during startup, conduct, and closeout.
• Prepare scientific content for regulatory submissions and respond to Health Authority questions.
• Maintain audit-ready trial conduct and GCP compliance.
