Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in the United States (Atlanta) is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to transform large data into actionable insights and drive decision-making across marketing, finance, and supply chain. You will develop end-to-end AI/ML solutions under guidance of senior data science professionals, with opportunities to mentor junior teammates.

Qualifications

Degree in data science, statistics, CS, economics or quantitative field; PhD preferred.
8+ years applying statistical, modeling, and ML techniques including hypothesis testing, dimensionality reduction and forecasting.
Experience gathering, interpreting and translating business requirements.
Proficient in Python, R, and SQL.
Ability to work with large-scale data wrangling and Spark.
End-to-end data science and analytics solutions from ideation to monitoring.
Coordination with cross-functional teams on E2E solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Azure analytics stack (Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure ML, Databricks).
Strong communication of complex analytics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Git/GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
Translate requirements into ML/AI models to generate actionable insights across Marketing, Finance, Technical Innovation and Supply Chain.
Leverage large structured and unstructured data to derive meaningful insights for modeling.
Visualize, interpret data and create reports and actionable insights.
Develop and maintain end-to-end AI/ML and analytic solutions from ideation to monitoring.
Document technical approaches and build reusable DS templates and code libraries.
Mentor and develop junior data scientists across the organization.
