Job summary

Groveland Council on Aging is seeking a Director to develop, plan, organize, administer, and evaluate all programs serving Groveland's older adult population. The Director oversees outreach, transportation, food pantry, congregate meals, wellness initiatives, and vendor contracts in accordance with town bylaws and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Executive Direction: Provides strategic vision, overall leadership, and day-to-day management for the Council on Aging (COA), directly overseeing facility operations, staff, volunteers, programs, transportation services, food pantry operations, and vendor contracts.
• Personnel Management: Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates all full- and part-time department personnel and volunteers; establishes performance standards, daily workflows, operational priorities, and staff expectations.
• Board & Stakeholder Engagement: Prepares and presents comprehensive monthly reports to the COA Board, conducts regular staff meetings, and builds collaborative partnerships with Town departments, the Friends of the COA, state/regional agencies, and local community organizations.
