Job summary
AccuWeather is seeking an experienced Director, AFB Technologies to provide technical leadership for the platforms, applications, services, and data that power AccuWeather for Business (AFB). This role drives the technology strategy and modernization of AFB web, mobile apps, APIs, and data capabilities to support enterprise customers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in software engineering and technology leadership.
- 5+ years leading and developing software teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and organizational leadership for the AFB web portal, mobile apps, APIs, and data.
- Define technology strategy and modernization roadmap with reliability and security in mind.
- Drive AI adoption and integrate AI into engineering workflows.
- Lead initiatives for SOC 2 readiness and governance across platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, Operations, and other teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers and establish clear ownership, priorities, and growth opportunities.
