Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Operational Excellence Consultant (Director) to lead the Aerospace Operating System deployment, coach leaders, and drive end-to-end improvements across supply chain, R&D, and commercial functions. This role focuses on transforming processes, reducing waste, and delivering measurable performance gains.

You will partner with site AOS leaders to set roadmaps, guide Kaizen events, and advance cultural change while traveling up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, lean supply chain, or strategic change projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% for business needs.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in Lean manufacturing, Lean business systems, Consultancy or Operational Excellence.
• Master Practitioner level of competency in Lean tools.
• Hands-on experience in organizing and conducting Kaizen events and improvement workshops, coaching, and supporting change initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing with a proven track record of implementation and change management.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience in providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring direct and/or indirect reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to inspire change and influence without authority.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other relevant software solutions.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management.
• U.S. person status due to export control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach AOS Leaders to drive the overall AOS roll-out and coordinate transition activities.
• Collaborate with AOS Leader and Head of Unit to align priorities and plans to hit targets.
• Support AOS Agile Action Plans to deliver performance improvements.
• Facilitate training courses and Kaizen events to create impact.
• Coach AOS Key Enablers on AOS methods and Lean Six Sigma mindset.
• Lead and manage strategic and tactical change projects with solid planning and execution.
• Apply Lean-based systems to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
• Conduct process and management consulting to identify opportunities and optimize workflows.
• Communicate effectively across the organization in multiple languages including English.
