Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Director of Advanced Manufacturing – Metal Stamping to lead capital equipment, tooling, automation, and facilities projects for the top-load dryer program in Louisville, KY.

You will manage the AME team, ensure safety, budget adherence, and ROI, and drive lean initiatives across stamping operations, interworking with product management and development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or significant related metal forming experience.
• 10+ years of experience with stamping tooling, presses, and related equipment.
• Experience leading an advanced manufacturing engineering team.
• NPI experience and metal stamping/simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AME team and mentor project leaders.
• Review and approve stamping tooling and equipment projects; ensure risk assessment and ROI.
• Ensure equipment and tooling conform to GE standards, EHS, and industry regs.
• Oversee capital budgets and cross-functional project delivery with stakeholders.
