Fortegra is seeking a Director of Advanced Analytics for Pricing & Underwriting to lead analytics initiatives for the Specialty P&C unit. The Director, Advanced Analytics serves as the technical leader for advanced analytics supporting Pricing and Underwriting, responsible for building the analytical capabilities that enable more effective pricing, underwriting, and portfolio management across Fortegra’s Specialty P&C business. This role combines actuarial knowledge, data science, and modern analytical practices to transform complex insurance data into scalable analytical applications, data products, and actionable insights. This position develops the models, data products, and processes that allow Pricing and Underwriting teams to make faster, more informed decisions.
Working closely with Pricing, Underwriting, IT, and business leadership, the Director will identify opportunities to modernize analytical workflows and develop new capabilities that improve risk selection, portfolio management, and pricing accuracy. The role serves as a strategic partner to underwriting leadership, translating business questions into practical analytical solutions while helping establish best practices for advanced analytics across the organization. This role currently has one direct report.
$165,000 – $190,000base salary, commensurate with experience.
