Director, Admissions Transformation (Finance)

This role is remote with some travel, with a preference for candidates based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Nashville, TN area.

SUMMARY

The Director of Admissions Transformation will lead the strategic execution of workflow redesign and technology integration within USRC's national admissions function. This role aims to modernize the admissions process, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the experience for patients and referral partners. The Director will collaborate with the Group Vice President of Business Enablement and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, execute transformation initiatives, and foster team engagement and accountability.

The successful candidate will understand the current admissions process in detail, identify optimization opportunities, and help design and implement new workflows and initiatives. Collaboration with IT, Operations, and Admissions Operations is essential to align efforts and ensure successful implementation.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate operational rigor, a structured problem-solving approach, comfort with systems and data, and strong influence across functions and levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the GVP to develop and execute the strategic vision for admissions transformation.
  • Document and analyze current admissions processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement scalable workflows to streamline patient intake and onboarding.
  • Lead pilot programs and initiatives, including clinical review workflows and admissions chair placement.
  • Partner with technology teams to evaluate and enhance platforms supporting admissions.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify gaps in teams and processes; recommend solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and patient experience.
  • Align with Admissions leadership to meet clinic needs and operational goals.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives with IT, Operations, and Operations Excellence teams.
  • Provide project management and thought leadership for transformation initiatives across markets.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the admissions team.
  • Communicate expectations clearly; hold team members accountable for performance.
  • Uphold USRC's Core Values, mission, and compliance standards.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
