Job summary

Family & Children’s Services seeks an experienced clinical leader to direct Co-Occurring Services, Substance Abuse Programs, and related departments in Oklahoma City. You will oversee daily clinical and operational functions, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role involves staff training, performance evaluations, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field is required.
• 5+ years' of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health services.
• Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or other mental health professional.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs and supervises clinical aspects of Co-Occurring Services, Substance Abuse Programs, Domestic Violence programming, TANF/Child Welfare, Medication Assisted Treatment Program, Gambling, and all other addiction related services.
• Provide overall leadership and direction for programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational functions, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Ensures staff have appropriate training required to perform specialized services and appropriate assessment tools are utilized. Provides staff and community training on addiction and/or drug and alcohol assessment and treatment services. Informs the Associate Clinical Director/ Clinical Director of staff training needs, consultation and education needs, and orientation of new staff
• Supervise and support staff including therapists, case managers, and support personnel including any applicable embedded staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and promote professional development.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate multidisciplinary team members (therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, etc.).
• Develop, implement, and monitor program goals, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and best practices.
• Ensure clinical services are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive to the needs of diverse populations.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and collaborate with finance staff to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Facilitate regular staff meetings, training, and interdisciplinary case consultations to promote team collaboration and service quality.
• Prepare and submit reports, ensure proper documentation, and support data collection for quality assurance and funding requirements.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and referral sources to support coordinated care and outreach.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities; contribute to grant applications and reporting as needed.
• Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and community forums to advocate for services provided by Family & Children Services and support public education.
• Monitor service outcomes and client satisfaction to guide continuous quality improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

• Master's Degree in related field is required

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years' of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health services.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• Must be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or other mental health professional
• ODMHSAS Case Manager II Certification, completed within 60 days of eligibility.
• Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record to use agency and/or personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office and/or for the transportation of clients.

OTHER INFORMATION

SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:

This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.
