Job summary

Arch is seeking an experienced Actuary to provide support to the P&C Programs Insurance Business Unit. You will lead a team of actuaries, partnering with business leaders to deliver insights, develop actionable strategies, monitor execution, and assess health with leading indicators.

The role emphasizes profitability analysis, pricing optimization, and collaboration with predictive modeling to underwrite more profitably. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ACAS or FCAS or equivalent actuarial qualification.
• 6+ years of actuarial and quantitative analysis experience.
• Strong business acumen in underwriting, products, reinsurance, claims and financials.
• Proficiency in programming for pricing and tooling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review profitability and analyze products to determine portfolio profitability with segmentation.
• Monitor rate changes, pricing adequacy and underwriting mix on new and renewal business to guide Program Managers.
• Analyze pricing parameters, methodologies and segmentations to identify profitable opportunities.
• Provide actuarial premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts.
• Design, program and maintain pricing and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with strategic analytics to deploy advanced analytics and automation for profitable underwriting.
