Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting to lead Medicaid trend analytics and strategic advisory work, translating complex findings into business narratives for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASA or FSA with MAAA designation preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with healthcare cost/utilization trend experience.
• Experience with healthcare claims data and large data sets.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to leadership via storytelling and presentations.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of actuarial and analytical associates for Medicaid trend analytics and advisory support.
• Direct recurring trend review processes delivering high-quality analyses and recommendations.
• Translate healthcare cost and utilization analyses into executive-ready narratives for senior audiences.
• Partner with Finance, Clinical, Networks and Operations to identify drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decisions.
• Oversee executive-level reporting and trend materials summarizing risks and actions.
• Manage intake and prioritization of ad hoc analytical requests.
• Ensure methodologies are sound and communications clearly document assumptions.
