Job summary

AllHealth Network in Englewood, CO is seeking an accounting director to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and grant management. This role partners with executive leadership to shape budgeting, forecasting, and controls in a mission-driven healthcare organization.

You'll mentor a growing finance team, oversee audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements while balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership and staff management experience.
• Experience with grants and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Accounting Director to lead our accounting and grant functions and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership. What You'll Be Doing

As the Accounting Director, you will provide leadership and oversight of all accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. You'll oversee month-end and year-end close processes, direct audit activities, support budgeting and forecasting, manage grant accounting functions, and collaborate with leaders across the organization to provide meaningful financial insights. You'll also supervise and develop accounting staff while driving continuous process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
• Minimum 3 years of leadership and staff management experience
• Experience with grants and regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Nonprofit and/or healthcare industry experience
• Experience managing government grants and external audits
