Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a Director of Network Operations in Washington, DC to lead 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and performance across our complex network infrastructure. You will drive operational excellence and partner with cross-functional teams to support growth and technology deployment.

The role requires senior leadership experience in network operations, strong strategic and analytical skills, and a track record of improving service availability in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, telecom, CS or related technical discipline.
• ITIL, PMP or network certifications are a plus.
• 8+ years in network operations or related field; 2+ years in people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 Network Operations Center teams for monitoring, incident response, and service restoration.
• Oversee strategy and continuous improvement for high service availability and performance.
• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational reporting.
• Drive root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor and develop onsite and remote operations teams.
