Job summary

Comcast in Philadelphia seeks a seasoned program management leader to align software delivery with corporate strategy across customer-facing digital platforms. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio governance and software project execution by aligning to strategic roadmaps and managing dependencies and risks.
  • Accountable for portfolio budgeting, investments, vendor management, workforce strategy, and cost optimization.
  • Drive modern software delivery practices, lean and agile methodologies, and AI-enabled tooling.
  • Provide executive-level governance and visibility into portfolio performance and business outcomes.
  • Build partnerships across product, engineering, operations, and business groups to ensure alignment and delivery success.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams through talent acquisition and succession planning.
  • Oversee adoption of AI-enabled capabilities with governance, security, and compliance controls.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational, process, and technology transformation to improve scalability and productivity.
  • Establish and monitor delivery, quality, operational, and financial metrics for accountability.
  • Exercise independent judgment in matters of significance and adapt to varying schedules including nights and weekends when needed.

Job Summary

This job involves leading program management initiatives to align with corporate strategies and enhance operational processes. This leadership position is responsible for driving predictability, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and adoption of modern software development methodologies, including AI-accelerated practices. The successful candidate partners closely with product, business, and engineering leaders to drive strategic execution, communicate delivery commitments and risks, remove organizational impediments, and ensure successful business outcomes.

Job Description
  • Lead portfolio governance and software project execution by establishing delivery frameworks, aligning to strategic roadmaps, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology investments, and customer outcomes.
  • Accountable for portfolio financial management, including budget planning, investment governance, vendor management, workforce strategy, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement through modern software delivery practices, change control, release management, Agile and Lean methodologies, AI-accelerated tooling, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide executive-level governance and visibility into portfolio performance, delivery progress, business outcomes, financial health, operational risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across product, engineering, operations, customer experience, and business organizations to drive alignment, decision-making, and delivery success.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams through talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession management, performance leadership, and career development.
  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and ensure responsible implementation through appropriate governance, security, compliance, and operational controls.
  • Identify and drive organizational, process, and technology transformation opportunities that improve scalability, productivity, delivery predictability, and user experience outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor key delivery, quality, operational, and financial performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
