Job summary

Way Public Library in Perrysburg is seeking a Library Director to serve as the chief executive and administrative officer, providing visionary leadership for the library’s mission and community service.

The Director will oversee administration of library services, personnel, finances, facilities, collections, technology, and development; lead strategic planning; and act as the primary representative to local government, schools, businesses, donors, partners, and the public.

The Library Director serves as the chief executive and administrative officer of the library and is responsible

for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the library. The Director provides visionary leadership while ensuring that the library fulfills its mission, serves the needs of the community, operates responsibly and efficiently, and remains a valued community institution.

The Director is responsible for the administration of library services, personnel, finances, facilities, collections, technology, community relations, development, and strategic planning. The Director serves as the primary representative of the library to the community and builds effective relationships with local government, community organizations, schools, businesses, donors, library partners and the public.
