Opportunity

This leadership role combines business development and client service delivery. The Director will build strong client relationships, grow the CAS practice, and oversee the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance for client accounts.
• Provide high-level financial guidance, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial analysis.
• Drive business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new CAS opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
• Develop tailored proposals, pricing models, and engagement scopes that win new business and strengthen client partnerships.
• Enhance client relationships through retention, expansion, and cross-sell opportunities—serving as a trusted advisor.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of managers, seniors, and staff accountants.
• Implement scalable workflows, leveraging cloud-based accounting technology and automation.
• Maintain rigorous quality control while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Contribute to firmwide leadership, including internal initiatives, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA highly preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with leadership roles in public accounting and/or outsourced accounting services.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, grow client accounts, and cultivate long-term relationships.
• Strong advisory experience working with small to mid-sized businesses.
• Expertise in cloud-based accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, etc.).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership presence with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
