Job summary

La Petite Academy in Delaware seeks a dedicated Center Director to lead daily operations, support a nurturing learning environment, and engage with families and staff to promote growth for children.

You will oversee staffing, curriculum implementation, and compliance with licensing standards, while fostering partnerships with the local community and parents to ensure a warm, educational setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with curriculum implementation and coaching of teachers.
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership with the surrounding community.
