Peak Utility Services Group is seeking a Directional Drilling Operator in Fort Worth, TX to perform HDD setup, drilling, and conduit pulling for outside plant projects. The role involves coordinating with the supervisor and crew to ensure work follows specified bore paths and safety standards.

Key duties include operating the HDD, potholing assistance, setting hand holes, and loading equipment to job sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of horizontal directional drilling experience.
• Strong knowledge of underground utilities.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle and Operator Qualifications).
• Ability to read and comprehend quality/safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Horizontal Directional Drill.
• Assist in potholing and remediation.
• Assist with setting hand holes and completing tie-ins.
• Drive equipment to job site and coordinate with crew.
• Confirm bore path with locator/lead and drill accordingly.
• Prepare and align drill equipment, tanks, and grounding.
• Conduct post-job quality checks and required paperwork.
• Perform vehicle/equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
