Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in directional drilling software and advising customers.
• Ability to analyze survey calculations and well path projections.
• Maintain up-to-date well profile plots and client reports.
• Ensure compliance with client's drilling program and approvals.
• Inspect equipment and prepare reports.
• Mentor junior offshore directional drilling personnel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Use directional drilling software to advise on a job and ensure wellbore accuracy.
• Analyze survey calculations, well-to-well clearance, and ellipse of uncertainty.
• Ensure daily directional drilling reports are completed and shared with client teams.
• Maintain BHA performance reports for each run and document equipment status.
• Coordinate with MWD engineer to ensure compatibility and parameters meet specs.
• Support training of junior staff and ensure adherence to company procedures.
