Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Directional Drill Operators / Locators for our Richmond, VA operation.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate directional bore equipment for underground utility construction.
  2. Assist foreman and/or supervisors with all duties.
  3. Operate trenchers, plows, backhoes, bobcats, tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws as needed.
  4. Work in the field with crews to complete work.
Requirements & Qualifications
  1. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
  2. Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
  3. Previous knowledge and experience in underground utility installations.
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications and orders.
  5. Effective communication with teammates.
  6. Willingness to work and follow directions.
  7. Willingness to travel is a plus.
  8. Bilingual skills and prior construction experience are highly desirable.
