Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a Drill Operator to operate HDD equipment for conduit, fiber, or utility installations as part of construction projects. The role requires reading plans, locating utilities, and maintaining bore records while performing equipment inspections and maintenance.

Applicants should have 1–3 years of directional drilling experience or training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs to install underground utilities per specs.
• Read construction prints and locate utilities accurately.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
• Ensure proper conduit placement using bore logs and tracking.
• Collaborate with field crews to set up and pull conduit.
• Maintain bore logs and site condition records.
• Follow safety procedures and client requirements.
• Support related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Work outdoors in varied weather and terrain.
