Job summary

ECI, located in Western Iowa, is seeking a Drill Operator (Gas Distribution) to support underground utility projects. The role involves assisting the crew with daily tasks, standing as a spotter for operators, and carrying materials to keep job sites running smoothly.

The position requires the ability to travel, work outdoors in varying weather, and comply with safety protocols. CDL and health card are preferred, with 2+ years of directional drill experience in utilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors and physically perform construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with daily tasks, including shoveling and job site setup.
• Serve as a spotter/watch for equipment operators.
• Carry materials and support general job site needs.
• Assist all crew members as needed to keep work moving efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safety-minded approach at all times.
