Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to safely install underground telecom cables. You will determine bore path, operate drilling equipment, pothole for utilities, and maintain bore schedules in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, and US work authorization. 18+ and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize "Mud" mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
