Job summary

GridSource is actively seeking a Directional Drill Equipment Operator in Georgetown, SC. The role focuses on operating a Directional Drill and an Excavator safely, supporting field crews, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a Directional Drill, Excavator, and Digger Dyrek.
• Valid driver’s license / Class A CDL Required
• Must be willing to take emergency callouts
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and manage crews
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
• High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred
• Experience in environments with moderate to loud noise and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed

Pay Rate: $30 per hour
