At TelCom Construction, as a Directional Drill/Bore Foreman, you’ll oversee and coordinate drilling operations for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring efficient and safe installation of cables and equipment. You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced team members.

What you’ll do as a Directional Drill/Bore Foreman

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis
• Read engineering drawings, prints, and technical documents for OSP facilities
• Create prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities
• Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks
• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection
• Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site setup and cleanup
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the US
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card
• At least 3 years of experience operating drill equipment in telecommunications or construction

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder, in confined spaces, operate vehicles and machinery, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Wage: $29/hr - $42/hr
