Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a seasoned Directed Energy Technical Leader and Business Strategy Advisor in Albuquerque to lead mult-disciplinary teams conducting advanced laser, microwave, and optical system modeling and wargaming.

You will mentor analysts, translate results into actionable recommendations, and support DoD/IC opportunities. The role requires US citizenship with active TS clearance, a strong physics/engineering background, and experience in kill-chain

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active TS clearance at time of application.
• Experience with advance weapons and other warfare systems focusing on kill chain decision-making, battle management, and command and control.
• Expert-level modeling and simulation within wargaming.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts conducting modeling and simulation for laser, microwave, and optical systems.
• Develop high-fidelity models of lasers, microwaves, and optical components; include propagation, nonlinear effects, and noise sources.
