Job summary

Sevita's Residential Group Home in Maine is seeking a Team Lead to supervise staff, deliver direct services, and coordinate individual plans in a dynamic residential setting. Schedule 11am-7pm with weekend work required and a starting wage of $19.75 per hour, plus additional pay for certs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ direct service experience in human services required.
• Current driver’s license with good driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification currently in effect.
• Direct Support Professional Certification in Maine required.
• Certified Registered Medication Aide Certification in Maine required.
• Excellent communication with staff, participants and stakeholders.
• Ability to use software to process reports.
• Acute attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Reliable, responsible attitude with compassion and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while delivering direct services.
• Attend trainings to ensure individual goals and company objectives are met.
• Participate in community outings and orient new staff; model accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with house staffing needs and staff recruitment.
• Review progress, coordinate and execute shift objectives.
• Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management per IP/treatment team.

Residential Group Home Team Lead

Starting wage for Team Lead: $19.75 per hour, plus additional pay for relative certifications

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while providing direct services to individuals we serve.
• Attend training for individuals served to assure their objectives, and company goals are achieved.
• Participate in community outings, house orientation to all new employees, serve as a role model to staff assuring that documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Assist with house staffing needs and staff recruitment.
• Review individuals served progress, coordinate, and implement shift objectives.
• Provide for the delivery of services such as skills training, job coaching, behavior management according to the Individual Plan (IP) and/or treatment team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in providing direct services in the human services field.
• Current driver's license for minimum 1 year with good driving record
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
• Current Direct Support Professional Certification in Maine
• Current Certified Registered Medication Aide Certification in Maine
• Excellent communication skills to work with staff, participants and stakeholders
• Ability to demonstrate ability to use software applications to process reports
• Acute attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
