Pay rate for this position: $23.55 / hr

The salary of the finalist will be based on various factors including departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and training. The range provided is a good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities

We are hiring an assistant manager to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to showcase leadership and organizational skills, advocating for individuals to exercise informed decision-making and communicate their needs. The assistant manager supports the well-being of residents, trains and mentors staff, and assists the residence manager in overseeing the residential program.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalency; college experience preferred.
  • Valid New York State driver’s license; reliable transportation required.
  • Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and assist with transfers.
  • At least one year of direct support experience.
  • Six months of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Flexibility in scheduling.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
