RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor in Salisbury, NC to oversee two or more Direct Support Employees in residential settings. You will interview, hire, train, and direct staff, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role includes on-call coverage and performance reviews to promote excellent person-centered supports. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, health-related education preferred, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in a health-related area preferred.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities is preferred.
• CPR, first aid certification required or provided after hire; background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Flexible schedule and on-call availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more employees.
• Interview, hire recommendations, and training of employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; review performance and provide coaching.
• Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation.
• Ensure staff meet training requirements and attend required events.
• Monitor and provide feedback on interactions with the people supported.
• Maintain clean and safe homes and yards for the people we support.
• Support implementation of services and supports per Individual Support Plan.
