Job summary

Mosaic in Pontiac, IL is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead a compassionate team and help steer our community toward life-changing outcomes.

You will hire, coach, and supervise staff, manage program operations, coordinate appointments and activities, and oversee individual finances with an eye for compliance, safety, and advocacy. You’ll support people as they integrate into the community and respond to emergencies with calm leadership.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a related field.
• CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Medication administration certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Building a Winning Team: Leading the hiring, training, and supervision of direct reports to maximize engagement and results.
• Operational Excellence: Managing program operations, including coordinating appointments, activities, and overseeing the accounting of individual finances.
• Safety & Advocacy: Monitoring the comfort and safety of individuals while ensuring all environments and activities comply with regulatory requirements.
• Community Connection: Assisting individuals with integration into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities.
• Crisis Leadership: Providing on-call assistance during emergencies and implementing behavior plans or strategies when needed.
• Documentation & Stewardship: Maintaining accurate records of activities and developmental progress while managing house petty cash and individual funds.

Your Impactful Responsibilities

As a leader in our Pontiac location, you will coordinate and manage program operations while ensuring we meet all regulatory standards . Your day-to-day will involve:

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about your timelines, challenges and questions.
• Ability to adapt as needed in a growing environment
• Associate's Degree in a related field
• One year experience in a related field
• Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain
• Certification in medication administration or willingness to obtain
