Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Direct Support Staff to work in group/residential settings east of Pittsburgh (Monroeville, Penn Hills, Wilkinsburg, Swissvale and more). Compensation is $17/hr depending on qualifications, with 2nd (Evening) shifts available.

You can set your own weekday/weekend shifts and some assignments may be ongoing or temp-to-perm. Responsibilities include providing compassion and emotional support to residents with Mental Health/IDD and assisting with daily tasks and basic care,

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Physical/TB screening.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• PA State Criminal Background.
• COVID Vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassion and emotional support to residents with Mental Health and/or IDD, ensuring activities support individual growth.
• Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform independently, including meal prep, cooking, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping, monitoring and redirecting as needed.
