Job summary

Exceptionally Me Inc in Ramona, CA is seeking Direct Support Staff to provide one-on-one support to an individual with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will work with the individual's support team, including a BCBA, to implement behavior support strategies and promote independence.

Responsibilities include direct care in home and community, documenting progress, assisting with diabetes management and medication administration, and maintaining a safe, person-centered environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with adults in the related field.
• Ability to pass a DOJ Live Scan.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Direct Support Staff to provide one-on-one support to an individual with behavioral support needs and diabetes management requirements. Staff will work closely with the individual's support team, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), to implement behavior support strategies, promote independence, and ensure the individual's health and safety.

Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
