Job summary

Rise & Shine Social Enterprise is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP Community Driver) to assist clients with daily living, personal care, meal prep, transportation to appointments and community activities, and medication administration after training.

In this role you will document activities, ensure safety, and support milestones in a respectful, empowering environment while upholding client dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation.
• Pass and maintain Oregon background screenings and eligibility requirements.
• Ability to drive extended distances as part of duties.
• Willingness to work at different program locations and complete trainings.

Responsibilities

• Help clients get ready for their day (including personal care when needed).
• Cook meals together.
• Drive to appointments or community activities.
• Administer medications after training.
• Keep a safe, clean, welcoming home environment.
• Celebrate milestones big and small.
• Complete required documentation.
