New Hope of Indiana is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for full-time or part-time shifts across Indianapolis and surrounding communities. You will help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent, fulfilling lives.

As a DSP, you’ll assist with daily living needs, plan engaging activities, and drive to community events and appointments. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork and offer a supportive environment with career growth.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of work, volunteer, or internship experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Proof of auto insurance; willing to use own vehicle to transport individuals.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Assist adults with daily living needs including personal care, grooming, bathing, feeding, cooking, cleaning, etc.
• Plan parties, games, outings, and other activities based on the interests of the people you support.
• Drive individuals to and from community activities and appointments.
• Provide a calm, supportive presence and promote independence.
