Job summary

Rise Inc in Maricopa County, AZ is seeking a compassionate Part-Time HCBS support specialist to help individuals with disabilities live more independently in the community.

You will provide direct support, assist with daily in-home tasks such as meals and personal care, and deliver behavioral support when needed while maintaining respect for cultural differences.

Flexible schedules, paid training, retention and referral bonuses, and on-site human service experience are offered.

Qualifications

• Desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs; respect for cultural differences.
• At least 18 years old.
• Verbal and written communication skills adequate for the job.
• Successful background check (Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services) and Level One Fingerprint Clearance.
• Reliable transportation to the work site; access to a telephone.
• If driving an RISE vehicle: 21+ years old, pass drug test, maintain a valid driver’s license, and submit acceptable driving record.
• If personal vehicle used for transporting people: provide current auto insurance meeting RISE minimum requirements.
• Must meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
• Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in the HCBS program.
• Assist clients living independently by taking them into the community.
• Help with daily in‑home tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and personal care.
• Deliver behavioral support as needed.
